Instant khichu dhokla

Dhoklas are very famous farsan among Gujarati people. Here I write about my innovation in dhoklas. It’s a very tasty recipe and any person can make it quickly and easily. One more advantage of this dhokla is that pre-planning is not needed for this recipe.

Ingredients

Rice flour — 3 cup

Green chillies paste -2 tbsp

Carrom seeds -1/2 tbsp

Oil -1tbsp

Salt as taste

Water as needed

Fruit salt 1/4 tsp

Oil for greasing and serving

Coriander chutney

Recipe

  • First, you take one medium-size bowl.in it, you take rice flour, add salt, carrom seeds, oil and green chilli paste. (you make green chilli paste by using a chilli cutter)Mix it very well.
  • add water as needed means you check the consistency like normal dhokla better. now better is ready. start the gas and put dhokla steamer on it.
  • adding the fruit salt and 2 tbsp water in better and mix it gently .now divide better in 3 portion.1 portion better pour in greasing thali and put it in the steamer. steam it in a steamer for 10 minutes or till the dhoklas are cooked.
  • Smear little oil on top, cool slightly and cut into diamond-shaped equal pieces.
  • Repeat these steps to make 2 more thali.
  • Serve dhoklas with green coriander chutney.
